Locate a Food Bank in Washington State

 

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (EFAP) offers this map of food resources in Washington State. Feel free to explore the features of the EFAP Map by following the directions provided. Always make sure to call or contact the food bank before your visit to insure that they are open on the day you want to visit.  Contact information and hours of operation are provided for each food bank in the information window. 

 

The Food Banks are organized and listed by county name in the scrolling list.  Scroll down the list and locate a county, then look for the name of the Food Bank listed after the county name, for example Adams County – Asotin Food Bank.

Click on the Food Bank in the list and you will see an information window displayed on the map with information about the Food Bank.

 

The information window shows the following information:

Phone:

Email:

 

Location

Address

 

Open:

Closed:

Limit:

 

 

 

The map will automatically center the map for you.  You can now zoom to the location and see more detail about it's location by clicking the "Zoom To" link at the bottom of the Food Bank information window.  By clicking the "Zoom To" link 6 - 7 times, you should be able to see more detail on the map.

 

 

 

 

You can continue zooming in to the location to view cross streets and see more detail.  Also, you can click the "Hybrid" button in the top right-hand corner of the map to see a combination street map and satellite image map which will allow you to see more landmarks and map detail.

 

 

 

Zoom Bar and Panning

 

 

You can also use the Zoom Bar on the left hand side of the map to zoom in and out of the map.  Click the "+" at the top of the bar to zoom in and click the "-" to zoom out.  At any time, you can click and drag the map to a new location - simply click and hold your mouse button down on the map and then move the mouse left, right, up or down to shift the view of the map.  You can also use the arrows at the zop of the Zoom Bar to move the map around for better viewing.

 

 

 

Find Directions

 

The Food Banks map has the capability to provide you with directions from any address to and from the Food Bank.  Always make sure to call or contact the food bank before your visit to insure that they are open on the day you want to visit.  Contact information and hours of operation are provided for each food bank in the information window.

 

Once you have located the Food Bank you are interested in, click the "To Here" link or the "From Here" link next to the Directions text in the Food Banks information window.  If you want to find directions to the food bank from your location, click the "To Here" link.  If you want to find directions from the food bank to your location, click the "From Here" link. Enter the Start or End address and then click the "Get Directions" button.

 

 

 

A new window will open up displaying turn-by-turn directions and distances and will also high-lite the path to or from the food bank.  If you have a pop-up blocker enabled on your internet browser, make sure it is turned off so you can see the new window with the directions.

 

 

 

Reset Map

To reset the map to view the entire state, click the "Reset Map View - Click Here" link to the right of the map.
