Developmental Disabilities Support

CTED’s Community Services Division supports people with developmental disabilities through the two organizations below.

Developmental Disabilities Council

Developmental Disabilities Endowment Trust Fund

The Washington State Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC) is appointed by the Governor to plan comprehensive services for the State of Washington’s citizens with developmental disabilities. The Council educates and advises local, state and federal policy makers on disability systems issues.

DDC is a separate agency that is housed administratively within the Community Services Division of CTED. Click on the logo above to view the DDC website.

The Washington State Developmental Disabilities Endowment Trust Fund (DDETF) was created by the Legislature to help families and advocates save money for the life-long need that their loved ones with developmental disabilities have for supports, while protecting the public benefits that they are entitled to use.

DDETF is governed by a board and housed administratively within the Community Services Division of CTED. Click on the banner above to view the DDETF website.
