About the Community Services Division
The Community Services Division supports Washington communities through management of federal and state programs and funds. Our strategy is to ensure and build local capacity to deliver services and promote justice so that families and communities are healthy, safe and self-reliant.

Community Service Division programs cover a broad range of services, from emergency food assistance to retired senior volunteers. Our division is broken into six units:

    • Community Programs Unit
    • Developmental Disabilities Council
    • Office of Crime Victims Advocacy
    • WorkFirst
    • Safe and Drug Free Communities
    • Division Administration
